Welcome to the cyber-home of the 1st Annual Haw River Clean-Up and Bluegrass-Jam. Everybody is invited to come out for a restorative afternoon of environemental clean-up and over night acoustical jam and camping. This event will be hosted by Derek Dihoff and Colin Starnes. Our objective is to obtain a cleaner West bank of the haw river from Hwy.64 to Jordan Lake. An all night jam-zone will be located on the West river bank, next to Robersons Creek canoe access. A series of signs will be posted to lead the slackers that were unable to attend the earlier clean-up to the camping and fire area. The clean up will start between 2:00pm - 2:30pm under the hwy 64 bridge on Sat. May22 and will eventually phase into an all-night bluegrass jam.
Bring your own tents, coolers, lawn chairs, musical instruments and food. Most importantly this event will be BYOB and very down-low. For a low impact event we will reframe from burning fires outside the main fire ring. Thank you,
